c'était quand même un peu difficile à lire, mais j'aime bien sa façon d'écrire : des phrases d’une francais plutôt simple mais avec un sens profond

Love love love. Found my new favorite author I had started her book a woman destroyed but couldn’t finish cause I was depressed and didn’t want to trigger anything. But I knew after the first story in that book I would love this author. She writes so beautifully and is so relatable. Her stories though well written never feel pretentious. She’s brilliant and writes honestly about grief and watching someone you love leave you. Even when that love is complicated and imperfect it’s just honest. She is brilliant and I really love her.

Short, highly engrossing read that it almost felt as if I was there in her moments of reflection (and that she was a friend of mine trying to narrate the developments as they unfold). The line between having a loved one's best interest at heart & selfishness is easily blurred whenever one talks about death it seems

Almost disturbing realistic account of death. Heart breaking and beautiful. An example of how our parents aren’t perfect and are living for the first time as well. Some really amazing prose around morality and life. Loved! Read in one sitting

a heart-wrenching recount on her mother's death ): the details she put in her writing to depict her relationship with her mother made me easily feel her emotions. the last few pages, when she starts to show/describe her mourning, was so devastating, but it was written so beautifully.
