4.5⭐️ This was nearly perfect for me.. the only thing that I wasn’t a massive fan of was the ending. It didn’t feel completely finished. We were left hanging on what happened to the killer and then it ends with her living her happily ever after and it was just a couple pages. I needed just a bit more to round out the ending. But other than that I freakin loved this! The audio was super engaging, the story was heartbreaking, the twists were twisting.. honestly I’m fully obsessed with Mia Sheridan and her thrillers! I almost didn’t read this bc my step daughters name is Josii and that’s normally an immediate no, but the blurb was just too good and I needed to see what was going to happen!

Strong suspense story from this romance book. I liked both main, imperfect characters. I also appreciated that the romance took a while to build up, which is generally my preference.

Lord how did I not review this book?? This was my first book by Mia Sheridan and it definitely will not be my last. This was a great suspense filled story.
