Going into this book I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Zayden is very unhinged and in the beginning gave Diesel vibes from Den of Vipers. His character had a lot of depth though and I appreciated that. Dominic being the stoic voice of reason throughout the book was also nice to have. I loved this story and I love that it ended in an HEA because I was super nervous it wasn't going to towards the end.
There is a mystery/thriller aspect to this book that all comes to a head near the end. It kept me turning pages when I should have been sleeping. There is probably at least one spicy scene for every chapter or two, so if you're worried about the smut content, it's definitely there. Again, take the author"s trigger warnings seriously.

Check your TWs, because these characters have the worst kinds of terrible childhoods, which are graphically remembered on-page. There is also graphic on-page torture and rape. Also a breeding kink, but it's without her consent.
I struggled with this one because the writing is honestly just bad. The author needlessly added drama to commentary that didn't make sense. The first time one of the MMCs kisses the FMC she says she hasn't felt this way "in literal decades." She's 28. Be so for real.
Shortly after their first date (which comes after like 2 previous interactions), she mentions that there's a calmness on his face she's "never seen before." In all the 3 times you've seen him? Shut up. These are just 2 examples before we even reach the 30% mark.
There are also just life inaccuracies that took me right out of the story. The brothers are having a conversation via a jail phone at one point and the one in jail admits what he did. In the recorded conversation on the jail phone.
At another point they go to a shooting range, and he clears the gun of bullets before trying to teach her how to disarm him - by pointing the gun at her. There is not a shooting range anywhere that wouldn't immediately have the gun slapped out of your hands and have you escorted out in cuffs for that.
Both of these cases are just the author not knowing better, but seriously. Do your research.
Also the extended epilogue? Surprise!
Again, just vibes and smut. It's a good time, but it really needs an editor.

Although Sean Masters has the sexiest growly deep voice and did a great job with the twins. Making Zay and Dom sound alike but just a little different. And his Maxim was excellent. Heather Firth is a favorite so I was happy to hear her. And duet narration is always a plus.
Lots of sex. It was great. Lots of blood and death and gore. She went through a terrible childhood so if you have triggers, watch yourself. There's a lot going on here.
