This book was definitely dark. If you're someone who thinks dark romance has a tendency to romanticize SA, you probably won't like this book.

It's also pretty graphically violent at times, which I knew about but don't like.

My rating isn't about those things though, since that's personal preference and I was aware of them going into the book.

I ended up disliking the writing and how the characters became progressively more annoying. Maybe it's my fault for reading way too many books, but all of these romance authors essentially write the same things over and over again and none of them are even doing a good job.

The last half/quarter of the book fell completely flat as well.

6/29/24 — For now, this book is sitting at 3 stars. I’m rather conflicted how I feel about it. Part of me loved it & the other part hated it for the fact that the pacing was so choppy, Blake’s character was extremely underdeveloped, &

the on page SA (that the author listed in the TW’s as a “mention of” but was actually a blatant on page SA scene with other times it being mentioned.)

But also I loved it because the Graves bothers are hot AF psychopath’s obsessed with their woman. Also, it was hilarious their jealousy over Blake & sibling rivalry.

7/1/24 — ok I changed my mind. Bumping my rating to 4 stars. Sat with it and decided I still really enjoyed the book at an overall 4 star read.

But please please please take the TWs seriously before reading. I do still think the author didn’t appropriately TW label a certain scene & that is what bothered me the most.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It is definitely one that I will buy. It had the perfect balance of smut and plot. It had its dark parts, but also had its sweet parts, too. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was that the ending was a bit rushed. I wanted more of the men’s point-of-views in general. Like, when Dom was creating the plan to take out Maxim, or when they were searching for Blake and how Dom got the loyalty of Maxim’s man, or how they were when Blake was in surgery/hospital. I wish we could have gotten more on Blake’s mom and Maxim. Did they really love each other or was he forcing her? The epilogue did something to my heart. I started tearing up because I thought Blake had died, but was relieved when I discovered she was alive.

I absolutely loved how Zayden became a different man with Blake, a better version of himself. I would have loved to see Zayden and Dominic being fathers, especially how unhinged Zayden was!

A dark and twisted romance perfect for this looking to get into or already in love with MFM.

A bit of a love triangle situation at first (not to mention touch her and die from both brothers) with Blake feeling guilty about her feelings for both brothers but once she realizes she truly can’t choose and they’re good with sharing all three go all in.

I liked Dom and Blake’s dynamic. Seeing them grow into something more and him breaking through her walls. I also enjoyed seeing Blake’s reticence for Zayden slowly grow and morph into acceptance and understanding to desire. He’s like all the bad sides of herself that Blake wouldn’t face.

Thank god for Dom and Zayden’s getting rid of the “friends” there. I’ll let you figure out in which way I mean.

Please, please, please,check trigger warnings before reading and know what you can and can’t handle because there’s some borderline stuff that occurs. This story has some very dark parts. ☠️, mayhem, and contract unaliving is part of the story. No one who’s done wrong is safe.

Katelyn Taylor. I never knew I needed twins falling in love with the same girl. One a stalker. One a protector. Both of them, together, loving her. This story was one that I had trouble putting down. The characters are well thought out and show true arcs that show of their past traumas and how them coming together as a throuple gives them all a sense of what they have been looking for their entire lives. With only the color of their eyes differing from one another, the twins find love in Blake and her in them. Together, they support and love each other. Together, they became one.

Please read the trigger list before you embark on this wondrous journey.

The Graves brothers are the perfect yin and yang balance of fvcked up crazy! You can't really forgive either of them completely, but you want to give into them entirely.

Add Blake into the mix with her special brand of deranged, and you've got an explosive trio that will take you on one hell of a ride.

There's degradation, praise, kni/fe and blood play, hand necklaces, mu/rder and so much more in this fast paced dark why choose romance.

Ok look, the smut was smutty and damn do I love a MFM and dark romance. Dom and Zay are dark as shit and it’s amazing in that respect BUT there were a lots of similarities to another book that had me rolling my eyes in annoyance. And also the twist seemed…unnecessary? Plus there were several editing errors and continuity errors. So three stars.
