I love how Katelyn put multiple trigger warnings before you get into the book and then a follow up after the book to check if we were all okay. It was a dark read for sure and her humor about it made me chuckle.

They all come from broken homes and hard times. Blake was unsuspecting when she met the twins Dominic and Zayden. Forced proximity changed her life. Let’s just say that. The book leads you through a dark and twisted tale but you get a happily ever after so it’s all worth it.

this one was a little too dark for me. the knife play isn’t really my scene. but i like how obsessed they were. and i like that the kids weren’t until the very end.

So, impressions…. I really only cared for Zayden and his on point psychotic personality. You’ve gotta love a very well done morally inept character who falls hard and fast.
Blake…. Was about as interesting as watching paint dry. Didn’t really care for her, didn’t really care for her trauma and she was the reason it took me a while to get into this book.
Dominic… Dom. Who was he again?
This is a few days of my life I’m never getting back and all the main drama happens in the last 5% of the book….
Oh and here’s a warning, because it’s not written in the tags at the beginning. There is period play…. I suppose the tag for there being blood might cover it but nope… it does not. If I’d known in the warning this would have been a non starter for me. It just gives me the ick… Period.
