Holy sh*t.
This book was dark, angsty, twisted, emotional — truly a wild ride.
Two MMCs that are twins? Yes. And, oh, they were so obsessed, with one being a little more unhinged. But they truly did anything for her.
Blake, the FMC, had a traumatizing past, but she tried her best to hide it. And yet, when Zayden (the unhinged twin) found out, he made sure to…help her get revenge.
Dominic was the “sweeter” one, but he was no less protective and possessive.
Both Zayden and Dominic were very “touch her and unalive,” and they were dangerous, but not when it came to Blake. And Blake not only got revenge, but also strength and healing from the twins.
There were red flags everywhere with these morally grey men, but I loved it.
Audio:
Narrators: Heather Firth and Sean Masters
Style: Duet
The audio was so good! Heather was amazing, and she truly captured all the emotions and the character of Blake. Sean did a great job, but I really wish he made his voice different for the twins. It did get confusing when I forgot which brother was talking, but other than that, it was amazing.

Favorite book of the year 🖤
The banter between characters is amazing, and the competition in the beginning between Zayden and Dom is crazy in the best way. This is the relationship I didn't know I needed.
This was such a great read! I didn't want to put it down. It was engaging from start to finish. The Graves brothers would make me question my morals for sure. I really liked the FMC, Blake, as well. This is one you'll want to check trigger warnings for as it does touch on some really dark subjects. Overall, if you are looking for a dark, why choose, standalone, this is your next read!
2.5 I wanted to love this one, but I just couldn't connect. I'm not a fan of insta love because I really love to see the progression of the characters, but this was insta obsession, and it just doesn't work for me unless it's a novella.
This is a typical dark romance, but it felt like a bunch of other books mixed in and heavily felt similar to The Ravenhood Series but with shock value. I think if it was a bit more creative, I could have loved it, but I love Kate Stewart's writing, and this felt way too similar

I’m writing this review with voice typing. I want to be better about writing brief reviews/summaries so that I can remember what I’ve read and because I read a lot unfortunately I can forget things
