Ohhh SeRaya you have me in a chokehold after this book. I was sent Ashes through good girls PR and I never really know if I'll like them when I receive a package. But I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading Ashes and loved everything about it.

SeRaya has delivered a book that sucks you in and leaves you wanting more. This book as a little bit of everything that makes a book great: love, revenge, spice, found family, dark past and more. Jamal is a character that I fell in love with. The banter between him and Sienna is great and helps build up the relationship despite the trials they face. There is a great love story here but also lots of smut and dirty talk to satisfy you! This book is great and is a definite must read!

Jamal love language is literally act of service and that’s my favorite thing about him
I devoured this one from SeRaya! I believe this is her second book, and as much as I enjoyed the first one (Nemesis), I LOVED this one!
Jamal had my heart from the beginning, I was literally crying during the prologue (usually a sure sign I am going to love a book). He is an acts of service KING, once you get past the forced marriage & the prickly exterior he shows to the world. Won't give all the ways away, but "You're my wife. You never have to thank me for taking care of you." I mean, SWOON MUCH!
Sienna is an amazing female lead as well, I felt she really came into herself & her power through this, and I love to see it! Her & Jamal's chemistry was intense & although a slower burn, when it happens, IT HAPPENS!
Also, I really liked the side characters and I'm invested to see who the next book will involve!

when i tell this was TOO GOOD, it’s because it was THAT GOOD— and yes, it is that serious.
this is really my favourite book from the vendetta series. there was so much more action than in the first book and i personally loved it. girls, he learned how to bake for her birthday and even decorated the cake with her favourite colour… me = melting.
