I know lots of people loved this one, but it just wasn’t for me. I found the time travel element to be confusing in a way that it impacted my desire to pick it up and keep reading. I think this was the longest it took for me to finish a book all year (8 days) which probably underscores how much this one lagged for me. It seemed like June’s confusion over her situation could have been resolved if those in the know would have just been more transparent, but I guess there wouldn’t have been much of a story then.
Perfect read this time of year, super atmospheric. I was picturing very cozy practical magic vibes. I’m still a little confused by the time travel elements and how it works but I love the characters enough that it doesn’t really matter to me :) Wanting to read more Adrienne Young!

Will this was a beautiful but confusing book! All of the timelines were really hard to keep up with and I am 100% positive that I missed some things. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I found it to be unique, which can be hard to do.

Good read! The setting was beautiful and romantic in the blue ridge mountains. Time travel and plot twists made it interesting and kept me wanting to read more.
