Not what you expect. I'd would have been much more annoyed by the college age characters, but as it's a memory and the older, wiser version of the main character calls her younger self out on a lot of stuff, it worked most of the time. Didn't love it, I didn't find it very relatable personally. But I did enjoy the friendship and the ending.

A really good book, thaz discusses classism and abortion in Ireland, but also long term friendships and relationships. The characters definitely had flaws, but that's what made them feel so real. While there were parts where I got annoyed at them for their choices, I couldn't help but like them and enjoy reading about them.

I loved this book, a slow start but it drew me in with its realistic heartfelt story…..
A story of love and intense friendships, loyalty and betrayal. 
Anyone who has ever been young and in  love should read it :)
