This was such a weird book to read, I couldn’t put it down but it is not one I will ever read again. We have abuse, bullying, gullible FMC, etc and the whole time I was confused on where this book was going until the end and I still have questions.

I think, I expected more - unfairly. I had heard reviews on how dark it was, I think I am beyond this level of dark though. Was well written, and a good read.

... was pretty much my thought process while reading this book. I read it in ONE sitting though, one moment my Kindle gave me 2 hours to the end, the next I had 5 minutes left in the book. Check your trigger warnings. I am a sick person.

If this story were to continue, I’d assume it would be in epistolary form containing only letters Dare sent and received from his max security prison cell.

Sam Marino is the queen of toxic relationships we love to read about. I love the way her psychological warfare plays out on page. Granted, I’ve only read Untouchable and the soapy Mateo books, but this one was good.

No one will ever hold a candle to Carter, but Dare has a place in my heart that’s reserved for unapologetic psychos.

The thing with Hannah made me sad. Everything about Hannah made me sad. I want more Hannah.

psychopathic mmc and not the fun type. why would you write a book where the fmc ends up with a guy that does not give a shit about her? like he literally drug-raped her multiple times? some authors deserve some jail time ngl
