Things I liked: 

• the tropes were troping and I regret nothing 
• I love that Riley is enough like Sloane to appear to have been raised with her but actually her own personality, full stop. 
• Riley at that dinner made me happy and I love that one of the tenets of these books is this big, scary, powerful men learning what acceptance and care without fear is. 

Things I didn’t: 

The answer to this question is nothing, seeing as o read this all in one session. 

Overall: 

Is this who I am now? A mafia romance girl? Also is it weird that I didn’t find this dark like at all aside from the fact that, due to the crime syndicate situation, there is unaliving threatened regularly? 

Whatever. I loved this.

I had honestly forgotten how good this series was! This books was a treat!
Riley is fucking hilarious and Malek is just so so so soooooo dreamy for a bajillion foot assassin who's supposed to be all bloody and murdery and all that fun stuff.
And when they're in blissfull honeymoon phase in their lil cabin in Russia? Oh my heart! It was the best part.
