There's a book every year, that changes my brain chemistry. It alters some deep parts of my brain changing the way I think and react so that I can never be the same. Essentially a book that lives in my brain rent free. This book is that for me. Which is crazy because the year is still so young..... I can't say enough that the banter, romance, humour, action and overall vibes was more than I could ask for. Riley is the type of woman I can get behind, a character I can see myself in and in other aspects want to become. A smart mouth heroine with a death wish does to me what sonnets and overly long prose do for Shakespeare. Mal is the type of man you takes notes on, journal about and pray the lord takes pity and sends him your way (with revisions) I ate out of the characters hands. I feel a severe empty hole now that i'm done reading. I love how the author gave all my favorite characters time to speak. Like who you know expanding the POV by the minute. I loved experiencing the characters in the JT Cinematic universe in this book. It was just so good
It was just so amusing. I kicked my feet, I giggled, I screamed. This book took me through all the way of emotions, and then some. This is a permamanent re read for me.
