I am so obsessed with the way this story is twining together!!!

All the connections you’re finding with the other books and seeing how it’s all coming together is so fantastic and I cannot get enough of it. The pacing is still so fantastic and easy to follow

I was slightly worried that one of the main plot points of this book would take up too much of the story but the way it was done was so fantastic and helped up learn so much

There was great tension to the romance still and it built in such a beautiful way emotionally and I cannot get enough of them! It was a two on the spice scale

I think I can tell who the next book will be about and I am on pins and needles to see how it goes!!!

Falling more and more in love with this series as it goes on

So good!!! Malin and Kase have the steamiest, yet purest love I think I’ve yet to read about. Not many loves could break through spells like theirs did!!!

A new battle was beginning, and I could not deny the feeling that it was exactly where we needed to be.

“Malin.” He kissed the tip of my nose. “I love you. Every good piece of me, and every dark, cruel piece of me loves you. But loving you has put a great many lives at risk.”

This is such an addictive series when i coudnt read it was just all i was thinking about and this book did not disappoint
after the ending of NOMAK i was completely destroyed and i love how the story continued in here and everything they struggled with getting to their end point (not to mention whyy did you do that to V -dont wanna spoil all the fun- in the end 😭😭)

And the way this book closes just made me run to my bookcloset for the next one bc OMG NO WAY *dies of anticipation*

L.J.’s writing always knows how to keep you constantly hooked and full on addicted to her books im so obsessed rn!

I can’t pinpoint a single bad thing about the book or the writing but I just didn’t feel it deep in my bones. It felt pretty anticlimactic in terms of when in the book major events happened but I do feel like the events were interesting and are leading to an exciting third book.

Loved! I still wish the spice was a tad heavier like in the 2nd and 3rd books, but I still love the characters and writing. Mt favorite of all, the QR code at the end to get little chapters and stories. I squealed when you gave 29 pages of valen and Elise! I can’t wait for book 6 to arrive and then the other 3 to finish broken kingdoms

I stopped reading this series after book 4 to wait for it to be complete because the cliffhangers were making me stressed. Now I am back and yay! I have missed it.

I am so excited Northern Kingdom has arrived to join the fight. This was seriously intense and there is no fear of killing of beloved side characters, which makes it more stressful!

There are moments of heartbreak, but the pace is held throughout. So much fits in to not many pages. Definitely one of my favourite fantasy authors!
