Reese and Emma's adventure is amazing. I loved that we were able to see what Reese is trying to deal with as he is trying to find his place since his run in with Angelique. Emma is trying to find her place and prove that she can make it on her own. She works hard to do just that while realizing that there is something electric about Reese.

Misadventures with a Super Hero by Angel Payne is a good fit for those seeking a lighthearted, fast-paced romance featuring a nerdy hero and a strong-willed heroine, with a focus on their banter-filled relationship and steamy chemistry.

I’m not usually a fan of superhero stories, but Angel Payne has made me a fan for life! I’m definitely going to be reading the entire Bolt series.

This was my first time reading this author and I will definitely be coming back for more.

The superhero parts are completely believable and not at all far-fetched and the love scenes are as steamy as can be!!

Another great read in the Misadventures series. This one had a sci-fi twist but was not lacking in the steamy sex scenes and hopeless romantic plot. Reese has super hero abilities that were forced on him, but that does not stop him from finding love and a soulmate in Emmaline. The crazy antics in this story made it an enjoyable read and it is a great part of the series.

I loved this book. Sweet, funny, sexy all in one. The characters are complex and human and then some :) I powered through this work in one night.

I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a fun, sexy and steamy read.

Reece is the ultimate playboy. He can get any woman he wants and it doesn't matter if he even wants her the next day, it's all in what happens tonight. His one mistake, thinking he can trust any woman who walks away with him.
Emma just wants to work, keep her nose clean, and make sure she can take care of herself. She has heard some interesting stuff about her boss. Then, her coworkers introduce her to the amazing Bolt. She sees him on the screen and then can't get enough of him, that is until their boss decides that tonight he needs to come to the office.
Bolt has just taken down some nasty men when Reece comes through the door and Emma can't seem to get her thoughts straight. Reece doesn't show it but once he sees her, he wants to have her.
Who is this Bolt? What will Reece decide to do? Will Emma be able to keep her thoughts where they should be?

It was good until it got to the end. Will there be a part 2? Its highly unlikely considering the Misadventures series consist of stand alone novels. So what about the big assed cliffhanger/plot hole?
Spoiler If Big Bad Angelique could bring a super hero to his knees, how could she get her ass whipped and run away with her tail between her legs after a girl fight with a mere human girl? And there was no retaliation afterwards? Really? I thought the organization was "Ruthless & Cold"?
*rolls eyes* Puleez!

**I was kindly provided with an ARC by the Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

I have been loving the Misadventures series and although I don't usually read superhero/sci-fi stories. This one peaked my interest and so I thought I'd give it a go.

But unfortunately it wasn't for me. Although I did try four times to read it. Each time getting a little further forward. Yet never really managing to get fully engaged in the story or the characters and honestly I just found the whole thing a little strange.

However I did manage to read 43% of this story before finally giving up and what I did read up to that point was hot and certainly the superhero aspect was intriguing. So that's why I decided to give this book 3 stars and I can certainly see fans of the author or the genre. Enjoying this particular Misadventures story.
