Excited to read Vol. 2

Re-read: Didn't realise that it had been almost two years since I read this. It's even better the second time.

The story was well-told and beautifully drawn; I finished it in one sitting. But the torture and murder was a bit too gory for me, and I don't think I'll be reading the next volume (or even re-reading this one).

The story is good. But it feels like you are dropped in the middle of the story and its a bit hard to peice through.

if i could give the art style 10 stars, i would <3
i wasnt a fan of the little excerpt parts at the end of each chapter; they just confused me for the most part. even though it took me a while to get a grip on the plot/world, the art made it such an immersive reading experience that i couldn't give it any less than 4 stars!

So I read this graphic novel in two sittings and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The first sitting I didn't really get into it. I just wasn't sure what was going on. I thought the character were cool and the art was pretty nice but I didn't know 'why' I should care about anything in it.

Because of that, it took me quite a long time to pick the book up again. But once I did I flew through it. I'm still not 100% sure whats going on but I have an interest to find out. A few cool things have happened through out that caught my interest and the ending was a nice touch. Good cliff hanger. I was tempted to order the next book right away but I'm on a budget and thats going to have to wait.

Anyway, I don't love it so far, but I find it interesting and would like to find out more about the story. I think the art is pretty and the world is pretty cool. It's action packed with lots of pretty cool characters. I guess I'll have a better Idea of how I feel about it once I get a little further in the series.

To be honest with you all, the only reason I kept on reading was because I thought at some point I would be able to get what the fuck was going on but… nope. Didn’t happen. The art was pretty though.
