Okay, I thought I was going to like this book but every time I thought it was “getting better” it ended up making me really disappointed. I thought the twists were either predictable, or really annoying and killed the whole vibe of the rest of the book. I think I am being kind with a 2.5 ⭐️ rating. Curious to see where it goes but also would probably just read a spark-notes version of book 2 to not feel like I wasted my time? Hated the ending, I think that’s what’s making me so bitter about the rest of the book when I did enjoy the other parts. The end just ruined the entire vibe for me.

This book was so good. I loved the story, I really enjoyed both the FMC and the MMC. The slow burn and tension is so good, their chemistry is so believable. The ending is insane. Even though I have been hold that I was not prepared. I was yelling at my book. I need book 2 stat.

Ughhhhhh why isn’t book two released yet??? Such a crazy twist with an unreliable narrator, the plot was well paced and the romance wasn’t rushed or overdone. Only complaint was that it seemed like an editing step was missed (lots of grammar and spelling errors).
