All-in-all pretty fascinating, but I gotta admit that philosophy isn't always my thing to begin with. The density is expected, but I felt it was a little repetitive at times. I'm not too well-trained at picking apart ideas presented this way, but I found some sections opaque.

Han's exploration and framework of our modern achievement-based society, in contrast with the those of conformity, presented a fun thing for me to chew on -- the concept of excesses in positivity and negativity are fascinating, but I suppose I wish that more of his arguments were grounded in real-life experiences.

Being pretty short (but not necessarily a quick read), I would recommend checking this out if you want a fresh perspective on the issues faced by many of us in the modern age.

It would have been an extremely fascinating book, had it been easier to follow. The way it's written feels a lot more like a philosophy study text than a book intended for the general public. The thesis is interesting, but its discussion stays so much on the abstract plane that it is hard to connect it to our everyday life; and, since how we live our lives is exactly what the book is about, it was a bit disappointing.

Interesante análisis de las exigencias psíquicas de la sociedad moderna, que transforma la competencia entre individuos en una autoexigencia que desemboca en depresión.

I found it a very interesting book, I could related lots of the described behaviours with some of my old and current work habits.

It was an eye opener but though a small book, it was very difficult to get through it - it is most of the time too dense.
