Really enjoyed this book, there’s nothing that I didn’t not like about it. It’s a great start to the series and I loved all the character’s perspectives and how they developed. Just really great book that I loved reading

Possibly an unpopular opinion…but my favourite Sarah J Maas book so far.
It had everything I love, mystery, romance and fantasy.
I get how people can say some things are confusing, coming from someone who struggles to understand world building, but I feel like as you keep reading things will start to click and make sense. I don’t necessarily think I understand the world 100%, but I understand enough to where it makes sense, plus I feel like that will come as I read the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this novel. SJM always provides an interesting take on the supernatural, but more than that she creates relationships between characters that resonate. The love between friends in this story was greater than the romantic interest, in my eyes. It transcended everything else. And I loved that. I can't wait for the next book.
