If I could rate it higher I would - fantasy, mystery, romance all in one. Such a cool magic system and world. I was worried because I had been told it was slow and the second book is where this series gets good but I personally did not feel that way and loved it so much. I sobbed for a good 200 pages straight but in the best way. The way everything braided together was just chef's kiss. Its definitely amongst my favorite sjm books

The ending made the book worthwhile, but man, this book draggggged on. Luckily, I’ve read the ACOTAR and ToG series, so I knew SJM would make this book really good, but if this was my first SJM book, I don’t think I would’ve pushed through to finish.

~ i love the fact that bryces brother is in this book and that ruyn i think basically has his own povs too ( i mean its all in third person but its done well )
~ This is sjms first ever adult romantasy novel and i love it
~ the romance is super slow burn and not super spicy in this book if at all but the cute banter and getting to dee bryce and hunt grow closer was amazing.
So far i love that bryce isnt toxic he seems so untoxic to me
if bryce and hunt arent end game i will riot

i hated the amount of slut shaming bryce got in this book just because she likes sex !!

this book lowkey gave me shadowhunter vibes and i love that.

Nelituju přečtení, už dlouho jsem se takhle nenasmála. Z těch posledních 20 procent mě pořád bolí mimické svaly.
Podle mě je to tak mimo, až je to těžká prča.
Vlastně klidně můžu doporučit. Najděte si kámoše, se kterým to budete číst, a pojďte do toho. I bez vína vás bude přecházet zrak.
Smích je zdravý.
A když se vám to navíc bude líbit, tak jedině dobře pro vás.

Honestly this may have been the best book I have ever read. It absolutely destroyed me numerous times, it had me sweating, crying, laughing and feeling the heat.
