It’s been a while since I read the previous books in this series, and I remember a lot more mystery, murder and intrigue. However, the mystery in this final book just didn’t hit the spot. Less telling, more showing. And less declarations of undying love and more actual crime solving please!

Are you sure this is the last book?? I could use about 83 more, that’s all I’m saying... this book was INCREDIBLE!! It wrapped up the whole series so well, and it focused on the characters and their love and struggles with everything that’s been happening and it was everything and I’m so sad this series is over!!

only took me 2 years! but! I FINISHED. I FINISHED THE CRESSWORTH DIARIES😭😭😭😭😭😭🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 MY BELOVED BOOBEARS😭😭😭😭😭🫶🫶🫶🫶 this book was so insanely perfect. as much as i despised the cressworth tension and angst it was so delicious unlike in efh… like idk everything about this book was amazing. audrey rose and thomas being fully united at all times. oh my babies. THE FINAL FIGHT WAS FUCKING INSANE. IT WAS WRITTEN SOOOOOOO WELL OH MY GOD audrey rose you are so much stronger than me for not killing that freak… okay listening to strangers by ethel cain throughout all of those chapters was insane and set the mood perfectly Wow. i was so obsessed with audrey rose’s internal struggle with the devil and the darkness in her throughout the whole book it was so. good. like idk it’s kinda agad pip fitz-amobi coded that’s my girl… AND OH MY GOD THE END OF THE LAST CHAPTER WAS SOOOOO HIGHTIDE CODED. AND THE FACT THAT THERE WAS A LAST CHAPTER EPILOGUE AND WEDDING CHAPTER THAT’S LITERALLY FHH LIKEEEESKAJDKFJDJSK. god i just loved this book. i knew holmes was the ripper once he was introduced btw i was like yeahhhh that’s him. ugh that was all so good. all of the characters were incredible in this book. liza my best friend. daciana and ileana my baby bears oh my sapphics i love you😭😭😭😭😭🫶🫶🫶🫶 audrey rose’s grandma ATE LIKE YES FUCK LORD CRESSWELL! now why was he at the cressworth wedding Like. anyways. mephistofuckingasshole. he was not as much of a fucking asshole in this book he was just kinda pathetic… so i didn’t mind him as much. but all of the good characters were amazing and all the evil characters were so evil. and of COURSE audrey rose and thomas always my pookies. audrey rose’s character in this book especially though oh my god she has grown so much throughout this series that’s my best girl. and thomas. the only man ever i fear. god they’re just so perfect. every cressworth moment. all of their kisses and intimate moments oh it was so wonderful they’re so domestic😭😭😭😭😭🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 side note i barely ever read spice in books but after becoming obsessed with agathario fanfics… most of those being Very explicit… i was like Wait aren’t we gonna describe the cressworth sex IJBOL😭😭😭 but im glad this was more like fade to black that’s how they should be my babies. well. this book was the perfect way to end the series. i will never forget this series its soooooo perfect i already miss it😭😭😭😭😭 idk if i can rank these especially since i read the first book almost 3 years ago but i do know efh is at the bottom! duh! idk maybe hpd is #1. and maybe sjtr and ctd are tied for #2. i just love them all (except efh IT HAD ITS MOMENTS but still). 10384737183948282/5 stars for the final book of the cressworth diaries😭😭😭😭😭😭🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶
