I really enjoyed this conclusion! I loved all the references to the other three books and thought the story was tied up nicely. It’s been a while since I started this series so I’m not certain, but I think this one might be my favorite!

I don't even know where to begin? I've been completely under this series' spell since the first time I started reading Stalking Jack the Ripper and now, less than a week later, I see myself finishing this book and not even knowing what to do. The amount of love I have for both Audrey Rose and Thomas are out of this world - their characters, their growth, their emotions and their personalities are just so good it makes me cry. It was incredibly following their path throughout 5 books and I'll forever be thankful of Kerri for sharing this masterpiece with me. This book, beyond making me read like crazy, inspired me so much to work on my own books, like her writing was a motivator on its own. I surely hope the author releases a new novella about one of the best fictional couples around because Id' be forever sad if this were to be the end of Cresswort.
So sad to see Audrey Rose and Thomas off. But so happy for them!
I feel like I can't say much without giving away spoilers. Thomas and Audrey Rose travel to the United States, tracking a killer from New York to Chicago. And while the banter between the two continues to be top notch, the horrors continue as well, building on those in the previous books and leading to a showdown that made my heart pound. I have adored this entire series and would read it again. Each boon is a solid 4 stars and maybe even higher than that.

I wanted more suspense and crime and this was more romance and character stories which are fine but I loved the first in the series and felt disappointment with this one.
wow. amazing end to an amazing series, although i can’t deny the pure and utter sorrow that accompanies the knowledge that audrey rose and thomas have been forcefully ripped from my grasp.
the romance, the mystery, the crimes, the emotional dynamics, all wrap up to be a wonderful end to the series despite my annoyance at it not being a never ending book that allows me to stay w the characters forever. i haven’t been this entranced by a romance as well as the two partners as individuals and their relationship outside of romantic escapades in a while and i loath to see them leave me. im also mourning the mysteries that were presented and explored in a way i don’t think i’ll ever see or enjoy again.
wonderful book, wonderful series, wonderful amounts of
money i’m going to need for emotional damages

Really more like 3.5-3.75 stars.
There was too much focus in the middle of the book on the romance rather than the murders. I definitely enjoyed the murder mystery aspect of this series more than the romance and while the romance is a large part of the series, it took the forefront in this installment more so than in other books and I was not a fan.
