I do get why people didn't like this it was more romance than mystery but I still enjoyed it.
Some part of my cold heart loves that people can come together and have so much love for someone if something happened to them they would destroy the world in return.

I really enjoyed this book. I was so excited to see where the series would leave off the dynamic duo. I was not disappointed. All the twists and turns kept me wanting to know all the secrets. I greatly enjoyed how concepts/characters/etc. from all the books connected into this. Things that were lived through, learned, taught, etc made an appearance and I loved the references.
I wasn't a huge fan of EFH, but I loved how it was referenced and brought to the forefront what was really the thing that was appealing towards Audrey Rose. That it wasn't Mephestophles alone, but more the freedom of being able to do whatever without caring what society thought. I loved that Thomas, even after everything, was letting Audrey Rose choose if she did want to go with Mephesto or not. Especially the conversation between Thomas and Audrey Rose about him asking her to run away with him. She was willing to do it, I'm glad they didn't need to, but it meant a lot that they were going to do it :)
Mr. Richard Cresswell and Miss Whitehall need to die lol I knew something was going to happen at their wedding with all the happiness going up to the day. I just didn't expect it to be a living person. The Cresswell family and their scheming brains * shakes head* It did surprise me that Mr. Cresswell was at their wedding in the end, but I'm happy Thomas could have his whole family there.
I love Grandmama!! She didn't let things get between Audrey Rose and her dark Prince <3
Sir Isaac Mewton <3 Love that they are parents to him and his name is adorable
Uncle Jonathan I want to know how he brought Audrey Rose and Thomas together, the hopeless romantic :)
Cressworth Their romance grew so much throughout the series and their chemistry sizzled even more in Capturing the Devil. I really enjoyed Audrey Rose and Thomas talking things out. They've opened themselves up to each other, about their fears, wants, and needs. We got them talking about their insecurities and the hard things they kept behind their hard exteriors. They are adorable together and I enjoyed how they worked together and grew even closer to each othersmexy times I loved their growth as individuals and as a couple <3 Even while being harmed and running from danger, Audrey Rose used all that she's learned to fight against Holmes with the fight to return to Thomas no matter what. They fought poison, fire, injury, etc and they won in the end.
"Beyond life, beyond death, my love for thee is eternal" ~Thomas Cresswell
They got Married!!! *Squeal* Their relationship, through all the hard times, stayed strong and they got stronger because of it. I do appreciate that they spent time engaged, although married in every other sense of the word *eyebrow wiggle* (However, I want to know what happened in the years between!)
The way the book ended ***SPOILER*** with HH Holmes being the murderer all along was amazing. Finding out that he was watching Audrey Rose throughout the series just makes me want to re-read the whole series to be like "that feeling you're having of being watched while on the ship, in New York, in Chicago... You are!" Those little moments I didn't really think anything of, really meant a lot. Even mentioning him at the beginning of the book while Liza and Audrey Rose were walking *chef kiss*
Through the twists, turns, and death, this series just kept me wanting more. I hope we get more Novellas about Thomas/Audrey Rose, but also the other characters too <3

Wadsworth and Cresswell have finally made it to America. Spending time with family in New York, planning to start their lives together, but the arrival of an uninvited guest changes that. Then it’s on to Chicago for more murder and mayhem to investigate!
This was a fantastic final book to the series! The chemistry between Audrey and Thomas is perfect, through their final investigation and the personal issues being thrown at them, they deal with it all with the wit and sarcasm that makes me love them!

He and I were two stars in the same constellation, destined to shine brightly together each night of forever.
I'll miss them so much.
