So I absolutely adore this series and I'm so glad to see Audrey Rose and Thomas finally get their happy ending. But having H.H Holmes connected to the Ripper and those murders in New York... It's frustrating as from my own research it makes no sense and it took some of my enjoyment away. This is why I rarely read historical as too big details being changed for plot can sometimes be okay - like in the other books in this series - or can just wind up frustrating me.
I did enjoy this book so I did have to give it 4 stars but it's far from my favourite in the series.

The most perfect ending to one of yn absolute favourite series. I cried, gasped, laughed and got angry with everyone in this book. I'm so sad this series has come to an end.

Good end to the story, I just wish there was more sleuthing and crime solving. The romance was definitely the focus of this one, still better than the 3rd book.
