I have read all the titles preceding this one in the Hannah Swensen. It is not heavy fiction, but I have enjoyed the mix of fluff with recipes. Like a few other series with a female protagonist who is single, Hannah can't seem to find "the one" in her life. Rather, she vacillates between 2 men for most of the series.
Until now.
Now she finds 'the one' and realizes the reason she could never accept a proposal from the others is that she didn't have strong feelings for them beyond friendship.
In some ways, the twist of a new male character to catch her attention was much needed. However, it felt like things shifted fast enough to leave the previous guys pushed to the side.
While the plot for this one did not entertain me as much as the earlier ones, I did love the detailed recipes in the book. I have a few jotted down to attempt in my own home.

If I'm honest, I disagree with her choice at the end. I remember liking Ross when he made his first appearance, but I'd really grown to love Norman for her. Also this book had less moments between the characters I've grown to love and spent more time skipping some things, especially in Vegas. We'll see how the next one goes.
I previously started this and put it down because it had some ridiculously dumb things.
I decided to give it another go expecting nothing. I'm glad I did. These are high quality but I think I'll pick the series back up. Also I really want these brownies

Three marriage proposals in one books? That's a little extreme. I'm curious to see if she actually does get married.
Honestly, this one felt a bit forced with the romance. I like the characters, but sometimes they don’t feel real. (Also, I am fairly sure that judge shouldn’t have been on the case in the first place)
