I’m surprised at how interesting this book was for how long it was. Did it need to be this long? No. But I was able to pay attention for 80% of the time listening to the audiobook. I think it’s a good time travel story and really appreciated the focus being to stop the Kennedy assassination (and the friends we make along the way).

Such a good read. I love King's writing, and it was fun reading something of his that wasn't horror or fantasy. This was a time travel book that's way more historical fiction than sci-fi. Highly recommend, and the audiobook narrator is phenomenal

This was a King book I had been working up to. Many recommended it, and I am happy to say that I also recommend it. It’s long, but it goes at a brisk pace. I was surprised at how emotionally invested I was by the end.

My favorite King yet. Kept me on the edge of my seat, and I didn’t feel bogged down by detours like in many of his other books. The main character has plenty of flaws and makes mistakes that have real consequences, which makes him feel like a real person. It also makes the plot that much easier to believe. This story somehow leaves a feeling like a strange memory when completed, instead of just another book read.
