It's an intriguing storyline but I really did not enjoy the relationship building between Veyka and Arran. His internal monologue about her body and how he wanted to "punish her" for her entitlement felt gross to me. The lack of world building was confusing. There were also a lot of spelling and grammar errors that were distracting.
