What was even the point?!?

A sordid tale about mostly unlikable and moreover unbelievable people. I kept waiting for all the subplots to tie together and astound me, but instead was left with a frustrating amount of loose ends.

The police detective squad was the most enjoyable part of the story, and they were only okay. I’d give them another episode to see if I liked the show any better, if this were a police procedural.

The amount of diet talk was weird, but there were much worse trigger warnings.

All in all, it’s occasionally funny, and the story held my interest, but ultimately just didn’t feel worth it.

Detective story but I didn’t find the detectives interesting. Found the main characters more interesting but looks like it’s a series that focuses on the detective.
