It has to be illegal for the men of an entire family to be so damn amazing that I fall for each of them. Seriously. My heart can only take so much awesome before it spontaneously combusts. Then I'm left swooning and dying, and I'm too much of a romantic to die.

What is it about the Sullivan men that just turns my brain to mush? I didn't think much of Ryan since he only make cameos in the previous books. But than I started this one, and WHAM! It was like a freaking sex god just came out of nowhere! I was head over heels for him in an instant. The way he took care of Vicki, the way he looked out for her, was something out of my dreams. He absolutely treasured her like she was the most important thing in the universe. He dropped everything for her. What I really found amazing was that nothing bad happened between them. He treated her like every woman deserves to be treated: like a queen. He never hurt her. He never forced her. All he did was protect her, cherish her, and lover her. I swear I nearly melted into a puddle of swooning goo just reading it. It was perfect.

I give Vicki kudos for her strength. From the first page she is in trouble. Nothing in her life has gone according to plan, and honestly, not much of it has been very good. So when she starts losing control of a sticky situation, she gets Ryan involved which starts a chain of events neither thought would ever happen. The way she handled the bad bad men in her life and countered it with the absolutely perfectly amazing Ryan and Co. was very complimentary. She never gave up. Sculpting was her dream and she was going to prove that she deserved a spot in the art world, and she was going to get it come hell or high water. She had no delusions about what she was up against, but that never stopped her. She was afraid of things with Ryan, and rightfully so, but she followed her heart and took a chance. Her relationship with the famous baseball Sullivan was simply wonderous. I'm still fanning myself.

I don't think there was any way to make this book any better. From beginning to end it was perfect. The characters were well done. The plot was simple and captivating. And the sex was hot, steamy, and delicious. Just the way I like them! This series continues to get better with each story and is quickly earning a spot on my favorites list.

FINALLY, we get to Ryan, and I have to say, he may be my favorite Sullivan boy yet!!

Ryan is a pitcher for the fictional San Francisco baseball team. He has been in the other books, and his games have been used for the other relationships. I was happy to finally learn about Ryan.

Ryan's best friend from high school, Vicki, whom he has stayed in contact with since high school, is back in SF and contacts Ryan via text that she needs him urgently. It turns out that she is being harassed by an art judge (Vicki is a sculptor). Ryan rescues her, and realizes she is in SF for a while and living in a dirtbag motel. He immediately moves her into his guest room (very alpha move) and tries to hide the feelings he has always had for Vicki.

Vicki feels the same way about Ryan, but she is having some problems with her ex-husband. Those are finally resolved and she and Ryan are able to move on. What I liked about Vicki is that she wasn't whiny and indecisive, like some of the previous women in these stories (Megan!!). She didn't want Ryan for his money - she wanted him for him, and he accepted her for who she was. Probably my favorite book of a good series. I'm excited to see what's in store for Smith.....

I actually had a little problem with tis book, because the first 25% were a bit boring and I let it shimmer for a day, but the rest of this romance was really sweet and I loved Ryan. He was never the focus on this huge family and I actually thought he was a little away from the rest of them, but he was never really talked about much.

I liked Vicki and completely understood her reasons for jumping in a relationship with the strange and very good talker artist. She wanted to belong somewhere because her parents where always moving and she was alone must of the time, plus she had a strange passion for her best friend and Ryan was so out of her league.

But these two were really hot together after they realized everything they wanted was be together there was no way to kept them apart. I liked seeing her with the Sullivan's because she already knew them from her years living close and it’s always nice knowing who is pregnant and how many kids were born since the last book.

4.5 You may or may not know this, but I am a baseball fan. *go Phillies*, so I was excited to crack open, Let Me Be The One, the sixth book in Bella Andre’s Sullivan series. This novel features baseball star, Ryan Sullivan and a friendship to lover’s trope that made me melt into a puddle of mush. Mini review: a hot, sweet romance with loveable down to earth characters.
Ryan is at a family picnic when he gets a frantic text from his best friend from high school, Vicki Bennett. She is in trouble and needs his help. Vicki is back in San Francisco preparing for an art show competition and trying to ward of the advances of one of the judges. Ryan steps in and pretends to be her boyfriend. As these two friends reconnect, old never explored feelings emerge, and the tale that unfolds is warm, funny and romantic.

All of the Sullivan men are sweet and smexy, and Ryan is no exception. Vicki is still trying to find herself after a messy divorce from a man who emotionally messed with her head. Having Ryan step in to help her is a godsend, only her old feelings for him make things confusing. I loved how Andre peeled back their friendship, exposing information about the two of them and their feelings. It felt very realistic and touched me. The chemistry between them is excellent and electric. The rest of the Sullivan family makes an appearance, offer opinions and add to the tale in general. It is always a pleasure getting updates on them. The art competition introduces us to some secondary characters, and they helped further the plot.

Let Me Be The One was a delicious read. The friendship to lover’s trope is one of my favorites and when you weave in an arrangement and complicate it with a media star things get interesting. Andre created scrumptious sexual tension and some scenes that left me weak in the knee. I loved seeing these two expose themselves and take a chance. We see growth in the characters. Vicki finds herself and Ryan takes a leap. The Sullivan series has become one of my favorite, and I cannot wait for the next book.

I love love love the Sullivan family! I was not disappointed with Ryan's story! There was just enough hesitation on both Ryan and Victoria's part to keep me engaged, just borderline frustrating, The love making is hot, the villain is bad ass and this is Bella at her best!!
