DID NOT FINISH

I'm sorry to say a very straightforward WW2 story that didn't hold my attention even though I enjoy the show.

WW2 story, not really much more!
The morale of the story is obvious and nothing to disagree with,
but I was hoping for a bit more sci-fi and less of yet another review of our demons from the past.

Other reviewers have done an admirable job of pointing out all the reasons this is a great read. I am a huge fan of "The Orville" and find myself continually impressed by the overall quality of every aspect of the series . A show can get everything right, but if the storytelling isn't there, it falls flat. Seth MacFarlane knows how to tell a story. Rated a strong 5. Highly recommended!

This novella, The Orville: Sympathy for the Devil, pacified me quite a bit as I continue to wait for an update on the return of this beloved cast of characters to television. Being thrown into the turn of the 20th century and into the horrors of Nazi Germany was not at all expected. While McFarlane's beautifully scripted prose captivated me, I still wondered just where and how The Orville would show up. It offered an incredible turn of events, and just as the TV show does, this story flipped my brain. I miss them more than ever now. If you're a fan of science fiction, thought-provoking stories, or even historical fiction, I highly recommend it.

This series is one of the most thought provoking adventure series ever. I highly recommend and honestly did not know Seth was such a profound author as well I loved this novel. I hope that there is an orville season 4
