I’m not a fan of Levana, but I can’t help but enjoy her backstory. While this story by no means redeems her character, it does provide some insight into why she is the way she is.

Wow. I'm shocked. If you're going into this book thinking you're gonna sympathise with Levana, don't. Synthesizing with her was never the intention, but this book makes you understand her so well, and I absolutely loved it.
