Could have been more exciting. Really sort of predictable, especially with this type of narrative swapping.

The best Alex Cross book in years. Fast paced and exciting; couldn't put it down.

3! Better than the last two novels in this series BUT...Reminiscent of Kiss the Girls with a back-up case of revenge wanted set-up! Just too predictable. I miss the good ole days when Alex Cross books seemed diabolical and filled with masterful killers. Now they are barely mediocre! Saddened by what happened with Ava...collateral damage!

I was getting tired of James Patterson's formula, but with the book he is back. The book was highly suspenseful and I couldn't wait for one of the bad guys to get caught. It also had a sad part with Alex Cross losing one of his own.

I always enjoy Alex Cross. These serial killers were not interesting or a challenge. They were even really that clever. It was a good read, but not Patterson's usual standard for Alex Cross.
