There is a lot of practical advice within the book and the principles taught are of worth. I felt like it was one really long sales pitch about the beauty of omega 3, omega 6, and a three week program he talked about every other sentence. Interestingly, he doesn’t mention what the program entails until you reach the end of the book. It would have been beneficial to have a snipet at the beginning and refer readers to the back of the book for more informations. Granted, this was an e-book for me so maybe the original copy is different.

Totally got value out of hearing good reminders about how to take care of myself. I’d consider this book a good read for people like me who just need to hear healthy messaging on a consistent basis to promote consistency in their habits.
The info isn’t earth shattering or new, and the author repeats his points repeatedly. I did like some of the more personal recommendations from the author for specific foods/brands or ways to implement a particular healthy habit.
If you’re looking to truly follow his three-week plan, I’d suggest a physical copy of the book. I think the audiobook is supposed to come with a pdf of the workbook chapters, but my library doesn’t include the pdf as an option.

Mostly heard this stuff before, nothing really that enlightening. Exercise. Limit phone/tv. Whole Foods/Mediterranean diet. How medications impact brain health. Etc.
It wasn’t listed as self-help in Libby. I was looking for nonfiction science/medical books, self-help.
