I can’t wait for the English release! This novel is one of my favorites of the genre just because every single character is so complex and complicated. The twist itself I didn’t really see coming and I loved seeing it unfold slowly over 3000 pages. I also loved how realistically Mo Ran and Chu Wanning’s relationship developed in the 1.0 and 2.0 timelines, from pure obliviousness to deep love.

Điểm trừ là tác giả dồn quá nhiều bi kịch và plot twist vào phần sau nên về cuối bị đuối, đọc mệt nên không thấy bất ngờ gì nữa. Những đoạn sex thoáng qua được Bánh Bao viết rất hay, nhưng khi mô tả kĩ thì yếu đi.

I wanted to finish this book but only the first half of the novel is human translated and I don't really enjoy reading mtls so yeah

This book grabbed me by the hair, threw me to the ground, curbstomped me with stilettos, spit in my face, and insulted my mother and i said thank you great god meatbun for the entire read. Very dark and brutal, but also beautifully written. The relationship between mo ran and chu wanning was beautiful to watch progress and I'll never get over chu wanning thirsting over farmboy mo ran.

Podría hablar muchísimo de este libro y el por qué aun me deja un sabor amargo en la boca con su final, no sólo porque terminó decepcionándome un poquito sino que también daba por sentado que dos personalidad no podrían llevarse bien (tal vez por nunca) incluso si eran amados por la misma persona.
En comienzo diría que el trasfondo de Mo Ran es una joyita cliché que no falló, desde su nuevo comienzo hasta último momento los plots que le abarcaron estuvieron bien hechos: su dolor, su búsqueda del perdón, la necesidad constante de ser querido tan sólo un poco y también cómo cambia cuando se da cuenta que no importa todo lo que haga, la gente es la gente y no puede recibir todo de todos.
Admito que al principio estaba cansándome de las constantes repeticiones sobre los sucesos pasados con Chu Wanning, y a medida que todo se fue resolviendo fue lo que le dio el toque a la historia, ¿quién más que Wanning para conocer mejor que todos a Mo Ran? Al final de cuentas eran todos sus prejuicios quienes lo guiaron en esta nueva "oportunidad" a darse cuenta a quién siempre andaba buscando.
Podría decirse que es una historia que no está escrita para todos y se necesita pensar, re-pensar y tomarse un tiempo entre capítulo a capítulo (en especial los últimos libros). Los acontecimientos son horribles en partes, el dolor de los personajes es incluso hasta chocante, sumándole al hecho que los plots son un poco visibles pero aún así contienen sus partes golpeantes. Si tuviera que decir algo diría que me hubiese gustado saber un poco más de Xue Meng y Shi Mei, en especial éste último pero bueno, no todo se puede y aún así Chu Wanning se ganó todo mi corazón aquí. :'D
