I never thought I would pick up this second book up, but somehow, I wanted to give this author another try, and here we are.
I loved this second book very much, including the narration as I listened to it on audio, as most times, directly from my local library.
It holds an amazing story and development ark for Arthur as he and Maudie set out onto yet another adventure and discover more about their family and the other explorer families.
It is a story that widens the scope and sees both Maudie and Arthur starting to discover new territories for themselves as they discover the wider world. I thought the representation in this book is v very well done. And, also, it is such an interesting story of brother and sister, sister and brother who are also twins who each have also to find more their own way as they grow up.

Ah I love this series and Vashi Hardy is becoming a bit of a fave author of mine!
I loved seeing more development across the twins and I liked that there was more darkness and drama in this instalment. I can't wait for book 3 now!
