Very interesting read. Palahniuk's writing style is different from anything I've ever read. A breath of fresh air.

The film is better, there’s no denying in that, but that also doesn’t really need to be questioned. I really liked this novel.
I actually read this a few years ago but added it yesterday after noticing it on Kári's shelf.
this was the first book by Palahniuk I read and also has the distinction of being the only movie I've liked better than the book simply because Palahniuk ' s writing is viscerally painful that some passages stick in your mind for years.
Fight Club is a violent, fast-paced novel about loneliness' quick descent into madness with no way back. First you feel a subconscious nagging that develops into a sense of unease that drags you along with an urgency that is only relieved at the climax of the book which reminds me considerably of the denouement in Brave New World. When you cannot adapt to the world anymore, you must transcend it.
I probably wouldn't have finished it, but I loved the character Marla.
