I couldn't get into this book. I liked the movie version, and I couldn't get the movie out of my head when I was trying to read the book. I liked the changes made for the movie at least as far as I made it in th book.

Much better than the movie, the only thing the movie has going for it is Gerald Butler.

Demasiado aburrido. Nada más que decir. No sé cuando lo volveré a retomar.

Beautiful story. Had me sobbing throughout!

LOVE this book! The love between husband and wife really hit home with me.

I did not enjoy this book, but I made myself finish it. It is so different from the movie and I LOVED the movie! I tried to get beyond my memories of the movie, but it was really difficult. What I liked best was the preview of another title by this author that was in the back of this book.
I had no preconceived notions about that one and it got my attention.

Sometimes the movie is better than the book, but than again a lot of things are better if you have Gerard Butler.
I know the movie made a few changes compared to the book but I feel they are justifiable. The book might be a bit more realistic, you can't always get what you want even if life is shitty at the moment. The main character just didn't match my own personality in any way so it was a bit tough at times.
