I enjoyed this book. The subject is terrifying and hard to deal with at times, but it is beautifully written. The relationships between the main character and her family and friends are beautifully written and real. You really feel her pain as she goes through the first year without her husband. It seemed real to me.

I was shocked when I researched the author after reading the book to find out that Cecelia Ahern was only 21 when she wrote this.

sad books always put me in a funk :(

It isn't a bad book, but I didn't agree with a few things and it is hard to read about someone who is depressed. I wanted to just tell the character everything will be okay, but then I'd think... if I was in that position how would I act? And realized I be the same damn way. With a few things being different.

I'd probably recommend it to some romance, contemporary, women'f fic readers.

I really enjoyed this. I thought it was sweet and gave more aspect to Holly than The movie. I mean yes who hasn’t seen the beautiful movie with Gerard Butler? I will say as most probably will I enjoyed this version a lot more. It gave more depth to everyone. The movie seemed to Rush things. It was sweet and it wasn’t rushed in anyway and felt realistic and I’ve dealt with grief a lot in my life, not quite the level Holly has but I have lost almost my entire family save for my husband. Speaking of I will definitely be holding onto him tightly after this and insisting on us both going to the doctor
