Habs geliebt. Wunderschön!

Would’ve been 2 stars but the book made me feel something at times so. 3 stars.

Idk. I watched the movie a loooong time ago but it just seemed better. This book was just bland to me. I was just trying my hardest to finish the book. Idk y it was just so hard. Had to force myself to get through it.

I do like that she wasn’t magically fixed. You know? She was going through the grieving process and it was like a roller coaster. But yeah. Okay book. Not one I’d recommend to someone. Sorry

Couldn't put it down. Such an easily readable and enjoyable commentary on life after grief. Holly is loveable and sympathy-enducing, whilst also being infuriatingly selfish. But the honesty of this as part of the grieving process is very refreshing. Made me tear up sometimes, as Holly grapples with her own feelings of loss while life goes on.

i watched the movie first, which i don’t normally do, and i think it ended up working in the book’s favor. the movie was absolute garbage, and nothing like the book. it made me like the book a lot more, and i’m not sure it would have had i read the book first.

DID NOT FINISH: 57%

fell flat for me
characters did not have the depth, Plot felt like it was lost trying to find a way out, emotions did not have the weight behind them, and the writing style was too juvenile — events happened and emotions were felt before switching to next, no flow no depth

the premise was really nice though

Just a classic, surprised I haven’t read it sooner. Long but makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
