My first Wodehouse and I was delighted by my choice. I am not sure that anything I could write would add to what has already been written by the many on Wodehouse so I will list some of my favorite scenes and characters:

1) Stiffy and Bartholomew-who wouldn't want to get back at a nasty policeman that keeps getting his legs in the way of your dog?

2) Roderick Spode and the Black Shorts-being a Mitford fan the satire of Sir Oswald Mosley and the Black Shirts was hilarious-does anyone know what Diana and Sir Oswald's reactions were?

3)Bertie contemplating jail to save Aunt Delia's chef-and plotting the 30 course meal on his release

4) The cow creamer saga

There is so much more to add but the best advice is to read it.

Hilarious.

Another fun read! I seemed to enjoy this slightly less than the other one I read, but I'm not quite sure why. Might have just been my mood?

absolutely fabulous classic British farce as Berie gets himself into mess after mess all of his own making

Terrific. My favorite feel good author. He’s known for his wacky characters but my favorite thing is the quality of his prose. He’s the master. Read Right Ho, Jeeves before this.

It is what it is. Nothing totally hilarious, and alot of stock characters, but it's a lighthearted book that if it was laying on an endtable in the dentist's office, I would encourage you to read. It was a quick read, too, and if you like it, there's a bunch more where it came from. It wasn't awful.
