DID NOT FINISH: 40%

This started out so strong but quickly became convoluted. Too many povs, random characters just out to get this one guy, random tangents, and plots that didnt make sense. I didnt understand any of the characters reasoning for withholding info or doing what they did. I usually like this author so I picked this up without question. Unfortunatel  this was kind of boring me and making me upset. I find it hard to read books about someone being relentlessl and unjustly punished/ treated like a villian for no good reason. Maybe I'll come back to this when I'm in a different mood but this started to put me in a slump.

I think this book is very interesting, as we have multiple third person pov’s to read, and we know more than the individuals in the story but we still don’t know the truth until the ending. It also does a good job of talking about upsetting things and in a realistic light. This book truly shows that you cannot trust anyone!

Fast paced, action packed and a real page turner. Another from Linwood Barclay that I’ve loved! I really enjoyed the premise of this one. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers.
fast-paced

Popcorn read. Somewhat predictable and somewhat far-fetched. Not the best of popcorn reads, honestly.

Well this started out good, that's about it.

Lots of twists and turns in this one!
