disappointing. seems geared towards smaller children but the way it's written has almost everything flying over their head

This was a really cute book, I enjoyed the audio version (maybe I’m biased to listen to an audio book about superhero’s read by my favorite Captain America) it was perfect to me to help kids realize it’s okay to have bad days.

Great rhyming text in the style of Jane Yolen's Dinosaur book series. Good book for preschool kids who love superheros.

I used this book in my virtual storytime for October's My First Books. This was a book where it encourages children that acknowledging their emotions is a good thing. That they can be channeled to do good like a superhero. I really appreciated that readers are given a choice....do good or do bad with those bad day feelings.

I could see teachers and librarians use this book to facilitate a discussion about acknowledging how we feel when having a bad day, but understanding there are choices. What are good decisions we can make to help us feel better?

I'm sure a lot of little boys love this book, but I (a 27 year old female) did not, lol. I mean, it wasn't BAD but I just wasn't fond of it. I didn't really like the superhero names either like "beastie" and "icky", I mean come on what do they even do? I laughed a little when they were all doing yoga but otherwise it's not for meeee.
