Finally got around to reading this classic on my shelf and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The framing of the story is interesting--through the eyes of a neighbor and friend we see the downfall of Jekyll/Hyde. Excellent commentary on drugs use, addiction, capitalism, etc.

I can respect that it’s a decent book but I still didn’t enjoy it (and I don’t think the commentary that it’s making is THAT unique/interesting/nuanced)
