I was going back and forth between three and four stars, but I ended on four for the sheer fact that it was easy to pick this book up and read. It definitely had me hooked, so to speak. As for the overall story, I feel like this could have been twice as long and done the characters and the topics more justice. I wasn't ever really absorbed into any one thing. That being said, I wasn't annoyed by the female protagonist, which is saying something for me. It felt smart and never too cliched. There was a twist at the end I didn't see coming. So, yeah, I feel good about four stars. Easy, summer read. Enticing subject matter.

Excellent! Well written, kept me guessing. The last two twists were unexpected. The ending wonderfully tied up all the loose ends.
