The Wings series just keeps getting more and more interesting with each book in the series. This book was probably the best one yet, I couldn't put this book down. I had always liked this series, but never fully loved it, but this book gave me a new appreciation for them. Finally something more happened between Laruel and Tamani! Well, besides the occasional kisses they've previously had, this time we actually get to see the chemistry between them. The plot here was great as well, sometimes slow, and not as much action as before but was still engaging, none the less.

Alright, so here we have Laurel starting her senior year, has time really gone by that fast? Dang. This book deals a lot with Laurel and decisions. School vs. Avalon and of course Tamani vs. David. We see her contemplate, but by no means come to a conclusion with anything really going on in her life. One moment she would be leaning one way and the next something would pull her in the other direction. I really hope she makes up her mind soon, goodness! Along with all that drama, we have Klea back in the book, and with her she brings Yuki. We quickly learn that Yuki is some sort of Faerie, but not sure which season yet. Klea has asked Laurel to "keep an eye" on Yuki because she fears that she is not safe from the trolls, but has no reason why. Things with Laurel and David hit a few dead in this book, allowing us the opportunity to see how Laurel is with Tamani. BTW I am totally team Tamani, don't get me wrong, I think David is great, but he is not for her, I mean, hello, different species here. The end of this book is completely unsatisfying! Total cliffhanger, I can't believe we have to wait a whole year until the next book. I want to find out what happens now!...now to wait...grr

Oh! The book was good! It was mostly Anout Lauren figuring out her feeling for Tamani And David! THe whole book was fille with guessing and experimentts and all!! It ended up in cliffhanger I think that cliffhanger can make a reader read the next on! Overall the book was good! we came to know more about the characte ,, more development! final decisions!!

This book is fun, but mostly filler. The plot with the trolls and other possible threats to Avalon is barely advanced. What's advanced is the love story, and luckily it's in a direction I liked. *SPOILER* I've been sick of David and his weird feather fetish for a while now. I feel Tamani is truly more compatible with Laurel.

I thought this was it?!?!?! I HATE love triangles and Laurel led both of them on. Kissing Tamani, Staying With David, Breaking Up With David, Kissing Tamani, then Going to the Dance With David. Honestly, she's kind of spoiled b/c she has TWO boys smitten with her when some of us can't even get ONE. Even if this book was fantasy, I think it was more focused on the romance, which was SO stupid. By the end, this is what I concluded-
Ryan likes Chelsea.
Chelsea likes David.
David likes Laurel.
Tamani likes Laurel.
Laurel likes David AND Tamani.
Yuki likes Tamani. (Not anymore...)
What a complicated mess.

Spells left us on a cliffhanger and Illusions continue where Spells stopped. I remember how frustrated I was after reading the last page od Spells and I was really happy when I started reading Illusions, mostly because Tamani was back.

I love Tamani so, so much since the first book and I don’t get it how Laurel can’t decide between him and David. The choice is so easy! Laurel is not as much annoying as in the first two books but I don’t like her very much either. I love Chelsea a lot, she is such a great friend but I don’t like her relationship with Laurel because those two hang out only when Laurel needs something and that is not fair to Chelsea at all. Yuki, as a new character, was interesting but I couldn’t get what she’s hiding. I was afraid that Tamani would fall in love with Yuki if Laurel doesn’t decide with who she wants to be but I knew Tamani would never give up on Laurel (and I also know with who is Laurel going to be at the end because I read spoiler). I ship Tamani and Laurel but she is also such a bitch to Tamani sometimes. Doesn’t she see how much he loves her?

The plot was intense and it made me wanting more and more and more but the ending was the worst cliffhanger ever! It seemed like it was only the end of another chapter and I was afraid that I miss few pages but that was it. The worst book ending ever! Author left us thinking what the hell is going to happen next and I was so frustrated. I still am!

Annoyed with Laurel. Also annoyed with the book ending right at the climax. What is that even about?

Wow, what an awesome book!!! So much stuff happened and I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens with Yuki. I've got my fingers crossed that Tam and Laurel end up together, I've just got this gut feeling with them. :) Also, I think Chelsea and David should start dating too.
