4.5/5
This is the third book in the Wings series. I loved the first two and I really enjoyed this one but I wanted one thing to happen and I have to wait to this is 4.5 for me (it's so good anyway!).
I can't tell much about this one without spoiling the others. I love the faeries and all the magic in these stories.
Great ending AGAIN! It's a really good and fast-paced series.

LOVED THIS BOOK! SO MUCH BETTER THAN SPELLS!!! If Laurel doesn't pick Tamani I will throw this book in the fireplace....then again...she can have David I want Tamani for myself....mmmmmmmm he is divine!!! :)
I'm disappointed in this; it seemed to go on forever, and nothing really happened. Everyone knew what Yuki was going to be, and who her alliance was going to be to, and then it just ended. Like "poof", done. And it'll be forever til the next book comes out. I hate it when this happens!
actually given 2 and a half stars. i was really disappointed with this book as i found i was bored of reading it which never happened in the first two books. some of it i liked though and right at the end it did improve with some action but i found it was little to late and the last page just ended abruptly.
I love how much the plot thickens in this books and the ending line is damn good!
Rereading as an adult, the romance drama in this book is suuuuper cringe but I still love it because of how nostalgic I am over it! I remember how mind blown I was by the plot twists the first time I read it

I love love love this series and can't wait to read Destined. These books are fantastic and all girls who like faeries and mystery then go and read this!!!
So Illusions was by far my favorite book in the series cause there was so much Tamani!! I’ve loved and adored Tamani from book 1. Although I like David too, but lets just say its only limited to liking. With Tamani its just that pure adoration that comes out for your favorite fictional character. He is my latest fictional crush after all. After completing Spells, I was kinda getting the intuition that Tamani would be upto something like this. Well, to be honest, praying that he would be more around the mundane world in the next book and I guess my prayers were answered, with additional treats. *cough*moremakingoutscenesthanever!!*cough*
So moving on from Tamani, about whom I could go on and on, this book really caught more of my attention cause of a couple of things. Firstly, Tamani entering the human world. Secondly, Lauren being more aware of Tamani than ever. Thirdly, Yuki being some mysterious wild flower in the human world. Fourthly, Laurel’s jealous moments. Fifthly, Laurel breaking up with David. Sixthly, chances of David and Chelsea being together. Seventhly, the mention of the Unseelie court and Shar’s mom being abandoned there. Okayy…I guess that’s enough. I have more points though. If you’re wondering, just ask.
I don’t really like Laurel. I don’t dislike her either. Okay fine. Maybe a little. The way she treats Tamani. Damn that girl!! But then she is good at heart. And although she is very, very confused about her feelings towards Tamani, she is atleast giving herself some “me-time” to figure things out. It’s a plus. Better than her asking Tamani to stay away forever and taking David as her only choice. I don’t have anything against David and it was good to see that he wasn’t some dumb-ass just letting the other guy steal his girlfriend and was really fighting for her. Literally. He is a great guy. Considering how he’s always been there for her and is never ready to give up on them, no matter what, makes him the best geek boyfriend.
Oh and Chelsea. I simply love her. She is so awesome! She is smart, the best friend, straight-forward, honest, another geek and just fun to be around with. I really liked how she was honest to Lauren about her feelings. I always enjoy her curiosity towards the fairies and how she bombards Tamani with millions of questions anytime she can.
Yuki was a confusing character all the while. I was starting to believe that maybe she was just a distraction and Klea was using her for something, which she had no idea of, but her turning out to be a winter queen was quite an unexpected twist. Not to forget that it led to a bloody cliffhanger which I still cannot get out of my head. Anyways, Klea being a fairie too? That was shocking. I expected her to be some really powerful troll. And Shar!! What happened? I liked you! Respected you throughout the series. I hope you don’t turn out to be the bad guy. Please don’t turn out to be the bad guy.
I did wanna see more of Avalon and Jemimah(that was his name right ? Or Jerimah? Good Lord I suck.). I liked how Lauren shared everything with her family this time and how drastically her mom’s behaviour changed since the last book.
And the end, arrrrrrrrrghhhh!! I simply can’t wait till April next year. I will die!! That’s it for now.

So it takes three books to keep telling me she can't choose a guy? Woooow.....
Will only read fourth one to see what happens in the end.
