Well, this was an incredibly poetic and sad lament for the human condition. It was very emotional, and I loved each and every one of these stories. It's one of those books you like as a child and love when you're grown.

Most of the short stories had the same theme of reuniting with your lover not in life but after death, which makes me think about their similarities to Wilde’s own life and how he was punished for loving the people he did.
