Love is complicated, but this family's situation takes the cake. A man is tying the knot with a young woman, while his current wife is still very much a part of his life - albeit with a different reality due to dementia. As you'd expect, his adult children are less than thrilled. This book is a juicy exploration of family dynamics, relationships, and the messy intersections of love, loyalty, and life's unexpected twists.

This was a pretty good novel. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. However, I found a lot of grammatical errors and felt that the climax was less than climactic. It felt a lot like a Lucy Foley novel.

Anticlimactic. I was hoping for a little more. I found the characters intriguing and the story line was interesting to follow. But it just didn't hit the way I would have hoped at the climax. It fell a little flat.
