I know everyone says they hate the ending, but I liked it?  It feels weird to call this book a fun, light read, but it was quick and entertaining!

The Younger Wife is a story of family dysfunction and secrets. The psychology and trauma of the three main characters was well done. I thought it was going to be a more twisty thriller, so I found that a little disappointing. But overall not a bad read.

Two sisters, Tully and Rachel are murderous when they discover their father has a new girlfriend. The fact that Heather is half his age isn’t even the most shocking part. Stephen is still married to their mother, who is in a care facility with Alzheimer’s. Each of the women have secrets. A garage full of stolen goods. An old hot water bottle stuffed with cash. A blood-soaked wedding. And that’s only the beginning.. ✨

When I saw Sally had a new book months ago, I added it to my TBR and hoped my Australian #borrowbox would have it soon. The wait was worth it! I love Sally’s writing and I love a messy family, which is what this book had. I liked the alternating character chapters. The end of each chapters made you want to read more. I really liked Heather in the book. What a wedding though, I would have loved to have attended! Really liked the ending and didn’t see that little twist at all. 4
