A little light on the mystery as it’s sprinkled pretty blatantly throughout the book compared to others of Sally Hepworth’s. Still, an enjoyable read and well worth it. It flies by quick!

They were slightly different and I am so curious to know which segments from which copy ended up in the final cut. This was such an engaging book. There are so many family and relationship dynamics at play. It wad twisty but so subtly that all of a sudden you realize you're somewhere totally new in your thinking. So good!!

Not my favorite book by Sally. I really got right into it, but it was too drawn out for me and I kept just wanting to know the story! By the time it got to the point, it felt like the story abruptly ended.
I listened to the audiobook of this book. I did not find this book had a real storyline. It was all over the place with 4-5 different narratives. I did find it weird that a well lived heart surgeon was bound to be married when his ill wife was still alive. I also wouldn’t call this a mystery book - just be prepared for a tragic incident to occur at the end. Overall this book lacked any suspense/story line or anything that would intrigue a reader.
