Like all the Mr. Terupt books, I felt a lot of variety of emotions. It's so well written even if it doesn't use beautiful language. It's so simple yet this beautiful, tragic, realistic story of a gang of friends that is trying to conquer middle school.

I love Mr. Terupt! I wish he made more of an appearance! The transition between characters is smooth. Rob Buyea has done such an amazing job of developing these characters that I can tell who I'm reading from. I love all these characters.

I will always have a small piece of them in my heart. I will always remember the good times like Peter. I will always stand up for what is right like Luke. I will write and appreciate words I've been given like Jessica. I will become my own unique person and have hopes and dreams like Anna. I will be determined and keep fighting like Jeffrey. I will be kind and stand up for myself like Danielle. I will be confident like Alexia. This book will always stay with me. It is so relatable and charming. I will always Remember Mr. Terupt.

Update: lol just watch as my rating for this gets lower and lower as I realize how let down I was by this book. (Nothing actually wrong with it, it was just a dumb and unnecessary addition to the series.)

Wow, this was so good!
At first I wasn't liking it quite as much as the first two, but by the end I was crying so hard, and it was amazing!

However, I would really like it if the author would stop torturing me the characters!
They're my lovely smol darlings, and they go through so much pain, and I just want it to stop!
And I just realized they're now only a year or two younger than me. Weird.

This was such a beautiful book, and a simply stunning way to wrap up the series.
If you haven't already read these, you are missing out. I really can't sum this up more accurately than wow. Or sobbing. That would work too.

In this third book about Mr. Terupt's students, they have moved on from his class and up to seventh grade at the junior high, where they are each facing their own struggles. Told in alternating chapters from their different points of view, we see how each of the seven students are making their way through unexpected bumps during the school year. The stories all pick up where the second book left off, and it is imperative to have read the first two books before this one. Their ups and downs include tests of friendship, illnesses, changing family dynamics, student government, athletic contests, and finally a threat to the school budget so devastating that they put aside all of their differences to work together. This gripping school story has something for everyone. Recommended for fans of the series, grades 4-7.
